The 2019 Convergence on the Coast meeting will be held in Port Lincoln, South Australia

Situated on Boston Bay, Port Lincoln is a vibrant regional centre of the southern Eyre Peninsula and home of the Australian seafood industry. The town is also located on the Kalinjala Shear Zone, a fantastic example of an exposed crustal-scale shear zone. The conference will be held at the Port Lincoln Hotel, located on the foreshore in the heart of town.

Getting there and back

Port Lincoln is served by routine Qantas Link and REX flights out of Adelaide, and is about eight hours drive from Adelaide.

Please indicate on your registration if you intend to fly in/out of Port Lincoln so we can inform the airlines of the expected numbers and ensure enough flights are avaliable.

We will also be offering a bus service from Adelaide to Port Lincoln and return subject to numbers. The cost is $90 one way. If you are interested in this travel option please indicate which options (to and/or from) you're interested in during your registration.

Accommodation is not included in your conference registration. Therefore, you will be required to organise your own living arrangements for the conference. There are numerous accommodation options in Port Lincoln, ranging from basic campgrounds, to backpackers, to small hotels, to a wide range of B&B's and self-catering holiday homes.
